Another delightful way to celebrate the season is with the always brilliantly bizarre illustrations of Edward Gorey. It makes me long to watch the original PBS Mystery opening, remember when Vincent Price hosted? I think maybe I need to find that on youtube. Happy Halloween!! -S

The Invisible Man - by James Whale starring ~Claude Rains~
In the spirit of Halloween, here's a clip from a true classic. Here, the Invisible Man is forced to unleash his sass upon the unsuspecting townsfolk... Gotta love it! --L

A little autumunal journey to the eastcoast
So, I'm officially an Austin resident again! Yeah! On my way there I thought I'd take a little trip to the east coast to visit my good friend Monica. Here are some of the highlights of the trip... Boston, the Atlantic Ocean, and my very first time in NYC (I was a total tourist snapping all the pics).
Some of the best hot chocolate ever at Burdick's in Cambridge. I'm donning the sweater with my embroidered strawberry (made from the embroidery kit my dear sis gave me for Christmas).
Yup, that's a new kind of automat... remember the ones you always saw in your favorite 20's and 30's movies where all the big city folks had their lunch?
Here are some of the best windows I saw in Boston & NYC. The hat store at the bottom had a hat that I almost dropped $240, but I luckily came to my senses and didn't go for it. sigh... -S
