I picked up this book of Victorian portrait photography at a used booked store the other day. There are some real gems in here! It's a great reference for costumes.... but as you'll see some are pretty darn creepy. --S

I think I see a hint of a smile on that lady in the lower picture on the right. Perhaps a certain young gentleman caller made a visit? That would make the corners of one's mouth twitch a bit, hmm? (never mind me, I didn't get enough sleep last night). --L
